About Nivada Care

Get to know the people behind your care.

Good support starts with feeling comfortable with the person beside you. Meet the nurses and support workers who bring their skills, personalities and care to Nivada.

More than care,
we make milestones.

Registered Nurse-led support across Southern Sydney – Illawarra.

Our story

A small beginning.
A purpose that stays with us.

Nivada Care began in 2022 with Sarah, a Registered Nurse, and one participant. The aim was simple: provide thoughtful, personal support that helps people live with confidence.

As our team has grown, that purpose has stayed at the centre of our work. We take time to understand each person’s routines, preferences and goals, whether we’re providing nursing care, helping at home or supporting someone in their community.

Our mission

To give people the support, care and confidence they need to seek new opportunities and realise their abilities.

Our vision

A world where everyone has the space, confidence and support to realise their full potential.

Meet our director

Sarah Whiteley

Director & Registered Nurse

Sarah founded Nivada Care with a background in disability support, community nursing, mental health, aged care and dementia care. Her clinical experience includes complex care, PEG and NG feeding, diabetes management, catheter care and wound care.

She takes a hands-on role in the business, working with participants, families, staff and treating health professionals to plan and review support. She also contributes to NDIS reviews through report writing and advocacy.

For Sarah, good care means listening, communicating clearly and understanding what matters to the person receiving support.

A little more about meI have a self-confessed unhealthy obsession with Formula 1.

Finding the right fit

Your support should feel right for you.

We consider more than availability when planning your support. Your care needs, communication preferences, routines and interests help us work out who may be a good fit.

Tell us what helps you feel comfortable and supported. We’ll discuss suitable team members and welcome your feedback as we get to know you.
